Frappr Map of the "Outer Circle"

In an effort to facilitate getting to know one another, I've set up a Frappr map for the Whooshup community. My hope is that this map will serve the dual purpose of promoting the Second Life virtual discussion group, and at the same time, providing a means for students of Dreyfus to find and meet in embodied space with likeminded individuals.

OK, Beads, this is absolutely a kick. Thanks for beaming us into frappr awareness of each other!

Talk about disclosing! Now I feel so stupid - not having a photo of myself, other than this one someone took at an office halloween party, which I labelled Osama bin Tyson.jpg, but which in the spirit of both fun and authenticity I uploaded to frappr anyway...

So, not only have I routed all our frappr traffic through the NSA servers in SF, and landed myself in the Atlantic off the coast of Gabon, I have probably offended everyone from the right (by making fun of terror) and the left (by making fun of middle eastern headdress) and the center (by making a fool of myself offending everyone else). I guess humor isn't my strong suit...

Whew! I got myself straightened out and back in Kansas. Really, I am almost normal.

Beads - if you read this - is there a way to administer the map and only preserve the placemarks that tie in real people? Just wondering.

Karl,

I've updated the map settings to not display anonymous users. So people at least need to log in before they can add a pin.

I don't see a means to add an additional administrator for the map, but the ability to remove individual pins is available. It does, however, require some way of determining who is real and who isn't "real".
